Client’s Use & Understanding

  • Unless discussed upfront, the client agrees that this is strictly for personal use and does not have the right to produce artwork for any profit whatsoever.

  • The client owns the right to use the commissioned artwork as they like (posting, printing, using as a banner, profile avatar, or stream, etc.) as long as proper creative is given to me as the artist and no profit is made.

  • If the client intends to use the commissioned art for commercial use, this MUST be disclosed at the start of the commission process. The transfer rights must be purchased, and the price will affect the total cost.

  • The rights may be transferred via a commercial fee of 300% of the original commission cost, in addition to the original cost.

Payment & Process

  • Payments must be up front before work on the commission begins.

  • Payments will be made with PayPal or a shop listing will be created for the client on my website.

  • The client may request to be invoiced via PayPal, or if they do not have a PayPal account, to create a custom shop listing on my website. Once the invoice or shop listing has been sent, the client will have 5 business days to complete the payment.

Shipping & Handling

  • Traditional art commission will be charged for packaging & shipping fees. This is to ensure your commission is properly packaged during shipping. If you require additional shipping services such as upgrading to Priority Mail, Priority Express, or would like additional insurance, require a signature, etc. you MUST discuss at the start of finalizing commission details.

  • Traditional art commissions will be packaged and shipped in a rigid flat envelope with backing board or flat style box.

  • Digital Commission files be sent via email for download.

    Refunds & Cancellations

Please be sure that you want and can afford a commission slot. This is my livelihood, job, and like everyone else I have to pay my bills.

  • I will not issue a refund to the client once the commission has been paid for. If you are unable to afford or no longer want the commission, you will have 5 business days upon receiving your invoice to cancel the commission.

Time Process

  • Generally 3 to 5 weeks depending on the size and details of the piece. If I anticipate that the commission will take longer, I’ll be sure to inform you as soon as possible. Larger projects can vary from 2 to 3 months depending on the complexity of the commission.

  • If your commission is time sensitive, this MUST be disclosed before I begin. I will require a large fee if you have a deadline.

Work In Progress & Adjustments

  • If the client is interested in seeing previews (work in progress) and giving feedback during my process, the client may request up to 3 WIPS (work-in-progress) for an additional $20 per preview. This must be discussed upfront before work begins. If this is not discussed, then the client agrees to trust my judgement and will see the artwork when completed. Please know that I am open to feedback if I made any errors, so please do not hesitate to let me know.

  • Changes to the illustration or design may only be made during certain preview periods.
