BIO
Chanel Harris is a independent artist originally from and currently working in Virginia. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration from Rochester Institute of Technology. Amidst her studies in New York, Chanel focused her work with mediums such as ink and watercolor, and she experiments with various metallic pigments. Her work dances from whimsical characters to exploring personal subjects from her subconscious that often blur between reality and fantasy.
Chanel is available for freelance illustration and personal commission and can offer specialized work in children’s book illustration, character design, concept design, sketch art and ideation.
For larger projects and collaborations, please email me at chanelsharris@gmail.com
Please note that I charge a small consultation fee after the first initial discussion of the project. The fee must be paid upfront before I agree to do any sketches, color swatches, or ideation of the project.
Availability for Art Galleries - I am almost always available for creating work for galleries unless my schedule is full and would conflict with any dates set by the gallery.
