Autumn Wanderings

Normally I keep this blog art related, but I thought I’d share a few of my pictures from my recently mini trip to the mountains a few weekends ago.

I missed my chance to go last year even though we barely had Autumn due to the extremely dry weather. I didn’t want to miss my chance again this year and luckily we had the perfect weather. I’ve been so busy the past few months that it was nice to slow and and get away from my desk for a little bit.

46th Lynchburg Annunal Art Festival 2018

September and October were such busy months for me that I fell behind updating the blog!

If you follow me anywhere on social media I’m sure you know by now that I participated in my first art festival! I was a little nervous since I wasn’t sure what to expect, but it was a great experience and I received a lot of positive reception to my work. Also, I made Judge’s Fence and ended up winning a award which was such a surprise!

Here are a few snapshots of my tent display.

Overall I’m glad that I ended up doing it and these events are always a great learning experience. Next year I’d like to create some larger pieces since I’ve always done small to medium size pieces.

I started a YouTube channel!

I started a YouTube channel! It’s been something I’ve wanted to do for a long time, so I’m excited to see where the journey takes me! Also I wanted to have a way to interact with you with my audience as well. I hope to learn more about audio and video editing and improve as I do more.

Sticker Packs!

A quick post to share that I've finished designing my first sticker pack!

I'm thrilled with the quality of this and how the finished product looks! This was a fun personal project that I've learned quite a bit about the process of making stickers. My designs are pretty detailed for stickers, but I treated them like my usual work since I'm also working creating several new original pieces for a local art festival I'm attending in September.  I'm currently packaging all my sticker packs for Comic Con this Saturday which should be a lot of fun. Any leftovers will be available in my online shop after the event.

Anyway I don't say it often but I'm proud of myself for designing these stickers and it's very satisfying to see them complete! I hope others love them as much as I do since I would like to create more if there is enough interest.
